Churches
St Paul’s United Church has been one of C4L’s “Missions partners” for a decade now.
It is located in Warkworth, in the beautiful Trent Hills of Eastern Ontario, Canada. This terrain is not unlike the rolling Lowveld where C4L is situated, in the old “Eastern Transvaal” – now Mpumalanga province.
Two teams of volunteers from St Paul’s have visited C4L for some “voluntourism”.
Gifts to C4L’s general fund can be receipted. Go to EASYWEB and enter this email address <stpaulswarkworth@gmail.com>. Once St Paul’s account is recognized, you may transfer funds electronically. Under “message” please mention C4L as the destination of your gift.
Christ the King Graceland church in Newmarket is a newer “Missions partner”.
God is on the move in an exciting way through this new partnership. Connecting the dots of these two churches and some other business partners, a new “circle of interest” has emerged. This is called CaSATutu (Canada South Africa Tutu) and will synergize the inputs of various Canadian resource agents.
Teams of volunteers are also useful, as outlined here.
Prima Inter Pares
In the emerging “circle of interest”, churches are the prime movers, the first among equals. This is in keeping with C4L’s identity as a faith-based organization or FBO. The “Manila Manifesto” has been adopted as C4L’s credo.
